Baby Basics is a national charity that was founded in 2009 with the aim of providing vulnerable families with a Moses basket filled with everyday essentials needed for early parenthood. The Moses basket provides somewhere safe to sleep; there are clothes, wipes, nappies and toiletries for the mother following the birth and much more.
Recently, Ignite has become a regional hub for Baby Basics, ensuring we can support local families who find themselves in difficult circumstances for reasons such as poverty, domestic abuse and mental health. These baskets are given as a beautifully packaged gift, in the hope that it speaks of love, dignity and value.
